Yao Songtao graduated from Xian Academy of Fine Arts. His previous works mainly depicted the numerous ultimate virtual worlds with traditional realistic method, his work looks abstract but realistic indeed, only the objects has been changed by traditional realistic method. He is infatuated with the image fashion that produced modern technology, the recent works are turning to another realistic world by modern image technology, those girls have elegant contours but ruthless in his painting that presents his understanding or virtual image. What kind of role will people play in such a world eventually? His works abandoned the time and space or other concepts and elements in a realistic world, based on realistic images to express such a thought in a most simple way. At the time, it is also the “salute” to the real manipulation that has been neglected behind the daily images.
